So, as many of you may or may not know, I am notorious for talking in my sleep and apparently last night I was being attacked by killer dolphins. Yes, killer dolphins. Why I was dreaming about dolphins and why they were trying to kill me I do not know, but what I do know is that one of these days I'm going to blurt out something in my sleep that I shouldn't. Heck, I probably have already and they're just not telling me.
In other news...my new mission in life is to learn how to fly a helicopter, build a log cabin out in the middle of nowhere next to a lake, and make a living off of taking people on helicopter tours and heliskiing. I'm going to rent out a guest cabin to people who want to ski and have fun in the outdoors. Apparently it's only a three month course to get a chopper license BUT it is expensive so I'll have to work my butt off to make it happen. How sweet would that be?
We switched field locations the other day and it's AMAZING. We took a helicopter ride across the mountain range and landed in camp out in the middle of nowhere next to a lake with jagged mountain views. This job, the people I've met, and the Alaska scenary are enough to make me not want to go back home. Alaska is more incredible than anything I have experienced before.
Pictures will be posted soon. We didn't get back from the field until 9pm last night - after eating dinner, doing field prep stuff, and cleaning up it was time for bed.

I will totally be your first customer if you become a helicopter pilot. In fact, you may never get rid of me. Maybe you want to re-think the whole helicopter pilot thing.
